Open shelving allows you to boldly showcase your dinnerware, whether it’s neutral or bold, it adds to the theme of the room. It can help space open up and appear brighter, which is an added bonus. If organization is not your cup of tea than this trend may not be for you.

Fun lighting is a great way to bring some color into your kitchen in an unexpected way. Pops of color not only add personality to a space but also make the area feel more like home. Do you have a light fixture that works in the space but isn’t standing out? Try spray painting it a fun color or a bold metallic to make it a focal point.
